🖼️ Preview Photoshop files and audio
More assets now open directly inside Diversion, so you can review creative work without constantly jumping between tools.
- .psd files now preview inline, including side-by-side before/after views in diffs and reviews.
- .wav and .mp3 files can now play in the viewer.
- In diffs and reviews, you can listen to both versions and actually hear what changed.
Basically, asset reviews just got a lot more visual - and a lot more audible. Explore asset previews here.
🍒 Cherry-pick individual files and folders
Cherry-picking just got more precise. Instead of bringing over an entire commit, you can now pick specific files or folders and bring over only what you actually need. Great for those “I want this part, but definitely not that part” moments 😌

💬 More flexible code reviews
Reviews now give you more control over what gets reviewed, instead of showing the full changeset every time.
You can now open a review for:
- A single commit
- A range of commits
- Everything since the last review
You’ll also get notified when a new commit lands after you’ve already approved a review (because surprise changes after approval are nobody’s favorite plot twist...).
🎮 Unreal Engine plugin 2.0.32
Keeping track of locks in Unreal just got easier. The new Locked Files window shows every hard lock in one place, including who holds it and since when. No more guessing who has the file. The answer is now politely waiting in a window.

🎮 Unity plugin updates
Soft-lock warnings in Unity are now a bit smarter. They focus on files that can’t be merged, so scripts and text assets stay out of your way. The plugin is also ready for Unity 6.4 and beyond, so your future Unity projects are covered too. Get latest plugin version.

A few more improvements landed this week:
- Diversion now resolves more conflicts automatically, so you can get back to work faster.
- Quick access with Cmd/Ctrl+K now searches commits too.
- Notification links open in the Desktop app when it’s installed.
- File previews now show which commit their content came from.
- Sync status is clearer.
- File search is faster in large repositories.
- CLI: the new dv conflict-backups command lists and removes .dv-conflict files.
- CLI: dv clean now tells you about files it couldn’t remove.
