Sher Delrahim

Dear community,
Winter’s here - the perfect time to stay in, code, and sync without surprises. We’ve packed this month with lots of features to keep your workflow cozy, clear, and organized - like the perfect version control sweater ;)
Let’s take a look at what’s new!

📡 See your sync in action

Sync progress is no longer a mystery! Now you can actually see how many files and how much data are left to sync - in real time. It’s the first step toward making sync behavior fully transparent and predictable.

🛠️ Admins, this one’s for you

Admins now get full self-service visibility - no more guesswork.

  • Org admins/owners can view all repos.
  • Repo admins/owners can view all workspaces.
Just head to Avatar → Your Organizations → Repositories / Workspaces to explore.

🎮 UE 5.7 support

🖥️ A fresh, unified systray (Windows + Mac)

We gave the systray a complete makeover! It’s now sleek, modern, and works consistently across both platforms.

💡Tip: If you don’t see it, the Desktop app isn’t open (though the agent might still be running in the background). To stay synced automatically, enable “Launch on Startup” in your settings - new installs have it turned on by default

🔒Smarter "Access denied" messages (Windows)

On Windows, some apps can hold a file open preventing Diversion from syncing new changes. No more vague “Access Denied” errors. Now you’ll see exactly which app is blocking a sync - like: “Cannot write to src/components/Button.tsx - file is locked by Windows PowerShell.” A huge quality-of-life win for debugging.

👋🏻 Leave repos on your own

No need to wait for someone to remove you - now you can leave repos directly from your dashboard. Simple, quick, independent.
