The team

Fooya games consist of three gamers. As a small team, each of us has many professional hats.

  1. Uri Zalmon - I'm a game developer and also in charge of day-to-day activities.
  2. Yuval Zabusky - Game developer, animator and in charge of our Youtube channel.
  3. Aviram Sharfy - Concept artist, artist and also responsible for our discord channel.

We are creating the narrative and the game design together. I believe that our power comes from our friendship and desire to create games. We are 3 oldies that worked in the gaming industry for a while and realized that we want to make our own games. The dream is too big to stop.

The game

"I Come In Peace" is a bullet hell action game where you play as a pacifist alien who has accidentally crash-landed on Earth. Your mission is to survive relentless attacks from paranoid humans and escape the hell out of this planet. Chaos, mayhem, and tons of fun await as you defend yourself and try to make it back home!

Tools

We are working mainly with Unreal Engine 5.3. for 3D & animation we use Maya and Blender. For marketing uses we are working with Adobe kit (Ae, Ps, Pr).

Why did you switch from GitHub to Diversion?

Our previous version control tool (GitHub) led to many hurtful events. We were working with fear in our hearts from the next conflict disaster. We knew that it doesn't make sense that this is the only option to work in a team with Unreal Engine so when we came across Diversion, we definitely wanted to give it a shot. The rest is history.

What is better with Diversion?

  1. No more disasters.
  2. Working with huge confidence that we are covered from any problem.
  3. Started to work with branches, allowing us to conduct experiments with our product that eventually were merged or thrown away without affecting the main branch.
  4. Easy navigations between our projects and tasks.
  5. We could finally work on the same map! You know how hard it was to work on different maps to avoid conflicts?
  6. We could easily go back to previous commits.
  7. Committing from the engine itself is so convenient.
  8. Everything just works fast.
